Through his firsthand experience treating critical injuries, he recognized a gap in immediate care available at motorcycle crash scenes. He founded Traumoto to bridge that gap by equipping riders with purpose built trauma kits and the education needed to respond effectively in the moments before emergency services arrive. His work focuses on practical, real world application of life saving techniques tailored specifically to motorcycle related injuries. Featured Speaker for May 13th Meeting: Sherri-Lee Mercuri President & Executive Director Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue Sherri has been involved in animal rescue for more than three decades working with animals from all kinds of backgrounds. In 2014, she made it official and founded Royal Canadian Pooch Rescue in Ontario, which focused on networking with other rescues to help needy animals both North and South of the Canadian border. Shortly thereafter, she moved to the US and continued her mission to help as many innocent souls as possible. She enrolled in Cesar’s Way Dog Training and became certified; not to become a dog trainer but knowing the skills learned in that program would be beneficial in animal rescue. Featured Speaker for May 20th Meeting: Amy Turner Executive Director Sally J. Pimentel Deaf & Hard of Hearing Center Amy Turner is the Executive Director of the Sally J. Pimentel Deaf & Hard of Hearing Center, a nonprofit agency, where she champions equal communication access for the Deaf and hard of hearing community. Before stepping into this role, she worked at the Lighthouse of SWFL for the Blind and Visually Impaired, advocating for individuals with vision loss. A dedicated leader, Amy has served two terms as President of the American Business Women’s Association Imperial River Chapter and now serves as Chair of the ABWA Southwest Florida District Council (2026–2027). As an active Rotarian since 2015, Amy has led numerous community service projects and built strong collaborations to support local initiatives.
