Featured Speaker for June 3rd Meeting: Bob LeSage Sunrise Rotary Club Member Join us this Wednesday for a presentation from fellow Rotary member Bob LeSage. Bob will be sharing stories and highlights from his recent trip to Canada. We hope to see you there! Bob was raised in Sarasota and Ocala. He attended FSU and professional school at the University of Houston. He met and married Bonnie in Houston, 1971. They have two children, Colin and Michelle, and six grandchildren all residing in Lee County. Bob is the Rotary Past President of the Cape Coral, Sanibel, and Ft. Myers Sunrise clubs. He retired from medical optometry practice (past partner of 35 years). Retirement for Bob means travel, playing guitar, and boating. Born and raised in Sicily, Agnese enjoys reading, listening to music, and traveling. She is a strong student with a passion for philosophy and has spent the school year in the U.S., improving her English, making new friends, and stepping outside her comfort zone. As her exchange experience comes to a close and she prepares to return to Italy, come hear her story and help us give her a warm Rotary welcome! Featured Speaker for May 20th Meeting: Amy Turner Executive Director Sally J. Pimentel Deaf & Hard of Hearing Center Amy Turner is the Executive Director of the Sally J. Pimentel Deaf & Hard of Hearing Center, a nonprofit agency, where she champions equal communication access for the Deaf and hard of hearing community. Before stepping into this role, she worked at the Lighthouse of SWFL for the Blind and Visually Impaired, advocating for individuals with vision loss. A dedicated leader, Amy has served two terms as President of the American Business Women’s Association Imperial River Chapter and now serves as Chair of the ABWA Southwest Florida District Council (2026–2027). As an active Rotarian since 2015, Amy has led numerous community service projects and built strong collaborations to support local initiatives.
