Featured Speaker for June 17th Meeting: Alicia Shannon Children's Advocacy Center of SWFL Join us this Wednesday for a presentation from Alicia Shannon, CEO of the Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida. During the meeting, the Rotary Club will present a check in support of the organization and hear an update on its impact and ongoing initiatives. We hope to see you there! Founded in 1981, the mission of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida (CAC) is to provide a coordinated response to child victims of abuse and neglect and improve the lives of at-risk children and their families through prevention services. They assess and treat children believed to have been physically or sexually abused or to be at-risk of such abuse and provide a safe place for them to come and be heard. Annual Changing of the Guard - Friday, June 26th: Please note that there will be no Rotary meeting this Wednesday as we prepare for our annual Changing of the Guard celebration. Join us on Friday, June 26, at 6:30 PM at the DoubleTree Hotel as we celebrate the past year and welcome our new club leadership. We are pleased to have Incoming District Governor Dennis Wallace and his wife, Katie, joining us for the evening. The cost is $35 per person.
