Prior to starting with Crime Stoppers, she worked for the Cape Coral Police Department for nearly three years, starting up the second "Do the Right Thing" Youth Recognition Program in the country. Before her law enforcement career, Trish was a journalist, starting with the Cape Coral Daily Breeze at age 15 by writing obituaries, and culminating that chapter of her career as the paper's City Editor. He brings two decades of Division I experience, including 15 years at North Carolina State University. At NC State, Hargis rose to Senior Associate AD for External Relations, leading revenue-generating initiatives that brought in over $27 million annually. Under his leadership, the department set records in revenue growth, including a 327% increase in women’s basketball and 15% in men’s basketball.
