    Featured Speaker for October 29th Meeting: Bob Strommen The Philosophy of Leadership & Management Join us at this week’s Rotary meeting to hear featured speaker Bob Strommen share his insights on the philosophy of leadership and management. With a rich history in Naples, Bob has been visiting Naples since 1987 and SWFL since 1970. Recently, Bob served as the Managing Partner of Naples Pickleball Center (NPC) which was nominated for the 2022 Business of the Year in 2023. At NPC, he was fortunate to attract an exceptionally skilled and service-oriented staff dedicated to the community beyond pickleball. This commitment has extended to Naples JBB United. While at NPC, Bob became the sole owner and the Founding Team of the NPL in its inaugural 2023 season.     Featured Speakers for November 5th Meeting: Colin Hargis & David Deiros FGCU Athletics Colin Hargis - Director of Athletics Colin Hargis was named Florida Gulf Coast University’s Director of Intercollegiate Athletics in March 2024. He brings two decades of Division I experience, including 15 years at North Carolina State University. At NC State, Hargis rose to Senior Associate AD for External Relations, leading revenue-generating initiatives that brought in over $27 million annually. Under his leadership, the department set records in revenue growth, including a 327% increase in women’s basketball and 15% in men’s basketball. He also oversaw the school’s multimedia rights partnership with Learfield and led NIL efforts, creating a dedicated NIL position and student-athlete programming. Hargis began his athletics career at NC State in 2004, later holding roles at USF before returning to NC State for a second stint.
