Featured Speaker for April 8th Meeting: Christine LoConte The Dubin Alzheimer's Center Christine LoConte, a Southwest Florida native and fellow Rotarian, began her career at 17 as a professional caregiver for individuals with Alzheimer's, sparking a lifelong passion for supporting the aging population. Her grandmother's experience with the disease deepened her commitment to the field, and she went on to run a memory care in an assisted living community. Christine has dedicated most of her career to nonprofit work and holds a master's degree in Social Impact. In July 2024, she became the CEO of The Dubin Center, where she continues to advocate for, and support individuals and families affected by dementia. 12th Annual Drive for Education Rotary Golf Tournament Join us on Friday, April 24th for the 12th Annual Drive for Education Golf Tournament! We will meet at the Old Corkscrew Golf Club located in Estero, FL for a fun-filled day of golfing, a raffle, a silent auction, and more! Four amateur golfers are paired with a PGA or LPGA professional golfer. 40 pros go head-to-head for a $3,000 cash purse. The amateur teams compete in a scramble, and the top Pro-Am team will also be recognized for the best round. 1oo% of the tournament's net earnings support our clubs local and international education programs.
