Charles is a retired professor and consultant in the sustainability space. He was a professor at four different universities and served as Provost and Director of Sustainability at the American University of Nigeria. His research addresses climate adaptation, renewable energy, industrial ecology, and corporate environmental strategy. His professional practice includes management and technical consultancies with multinational corporations and energy/environmental ministries, where he helped point the way toward sustainable resource management. He presently leads Sarasota’s Florida House as the President of FHI’s Board of Directors.

Within her 1st month, Belinda attended RLI and became a Graduate in 1 year. In her second month, she proposed a New Member Mentor Program after attending District 7600 Assembly. By the third month, she was requested to become Newsletter Editor. During her fourth month, she received a Paul Harris Fellowship and was requested to start the New Member Mentor Program.

*Asked to be an RLI Discussion Leader and did.
*Interviewed and wrote an article about RI Director Robert Hall.
*Asked to be President.
*Created an Annual Diabetes Health Fair with Star Wars Costume Club.
*Trained at Orlando PETS 2017.
*Founded the Rotaract Club of the Big Bend.
*Authored “Rotaract – A Step by Step Guide.”
*District 6940 Secretary 2018-19.
*Created and held WE District 6940 Assembly, proceeds established scholarship for Rotaract and Interact members to attend either RLI or District 6940 Conference; resulted in most Rotaractors at District 6940 Conference.
*Featured on RI Global Rotaract Webinar 2019.
*Co-Founded the Rotary Club of Siesta Key, 24 March 2019.
*DACdb Co-Chair 2019; Chair 2020-2021.
*Authored several manuals for DACdb users.
*Participated in RI marketing pool to recreate Brand Center.
*Created and managed the GreenRotaract World-Wide green project April 2021.
