SUMMARY:Featured Speaker: Robyn DeZego
DESCRIPTION:Featured Speaker for April 2nd Meeting:Robyn DeZego\nBRM Constructors\nRobyn DeZego has been a Rotarian since the week she moved to Florida in December 2016. When her four children were in Interact\, Robyn was the VP of Carolina Cancer Services and worked full-time at High Point Market Authority\, leaving little time to join Rotary. Upon relocating to Florida\, one of the first things she did was become a Rotarian. \nRobyn is the President of the Rotary Club of Bonita Beach Sunset. After cleaning up her home following Hurricane Ian\, she joined Current District Governor Kelsey Sola in Fort Myers Beach to assist with mucking and gutting. The following year\, after Hurricane Idalia\, Robyn teamed up with Kelsey\, Judy Hammond\, and Exchange student Elo for five days in Northern Florida\, helping Disaster Aid USA initiate cleanup efforts. \nRecently\, Robyn became familiar with a company that helps families keep their homes by lifting them instead of demolishing them. With a background in interior design and construction\, she joined the company and is now spreading the word about this opportunity\, hoping to help Rotarians and neighbors save their forever homes. \nWEEKLY SUNRISE MEETING\nJoin us on Wednesday at the DoubleTree by Hilton at Bell Tower Shops\n13051 Bell Tower Drive\, FL\, 33907\nLET US KNOW YOU ARE ATTENDING\nCan’t Make it?\nJoin our Zoom Meeting – 2 Ways to Join\nONEClick on the link to our ZOOM ROOM below. DESCRIPTION:Featured Speaker for September 4th Meeting:Meg Middaugh\nBoard Member – Living Well Mission\nMeg Middaugh\, a long-time resident of Fort Myers for over 35 years\, is a dedicated Board Member of Living Well Mission (LWM)\, a non-profit organization in Fort Myers. Her commitment to the board stems from a deep belief in supporting programs that offer life-changing solutions. Living Well Mission (LWM) is a non-profit (501c3) organization\, primarily funded by private donations. Its mission is to provide accessible mental health therapy to individuals\, regardless of their insurance status or financial capability. \nLinks to applications for assistance are available on the LWM website and in printed materials. Anyone can fill out and submit an application\, which is then confidentially evaluated for need. Applicants are contacted within 72 hours\, and assistance approval is based on need\, not income. This includes those who are employed and may have insurance but still struggle to afford mental health therapy for themselves or their families. For those accepted into the program\, LWM helps cover partial or full session fees with their current therapist or assists in finding a therapist if needed. LWM can also help with insurance copays for therapy. These services are available to individuals\, couples\, and families\, including children as young as three years old. \nApproved applicants receive payment assistance for up to four therapy sessions. If financial need persists\, they may request continued assistance. LWM’s primary goal in reaching out to Rotary Clubs is to raise awareness about these services and highlight how accessible mental health therapy can be. \nWEEKLY SUNRISE MEETING\nJoin us on Wednesday at the Doubletree Fort Myers at Bell Tower Shops\n13051 Bell Tower Drive\, FL\, 33907\nLET US KNOW YOU ARE ATTENDING\nCan’t Make it?\nJoin our Zoom Meeting – 2 Ways to Join\nONEClick on the link to our ZOOM ROOM below.
