Her team was awarded the #3 top group for 2021 in Marco Island. Her team was awarded the #2 expansion team in 2022 with Keller Williams Elite Realty. Anderson was sworn in as the 62nd Mayor of Fort Myers on November 16\, 2020\, after serving as Ward 4 councilperson for the previous two years. Mayor Anderson retired from Chico’s FAS\, Inc. in June 2019 after 15 years. Prior to joining Chico’s\, he had a more than 24-year career with the Fort Myers Police Department\, holding the rank of Major at retirement. Anderson also served three years in the United States Army. \nMayor Anderson is a graduate of Edison Community College (now Florida SouthWestern State College)\, Florida Gulf Coast University\, and the University of Louisville Southern Police Institute. A dynamic community member with a long history of civic involvement\, Anderson has been a resident of Fort Myers since 1979\, serving on numerous boards and coalitions across Southwest Florida. \nCurrently\, Mayor Anderson serves as chair of the Premier Mobile Health Services Board of Directors\, as well as sits on advisory boards for the Lee County Horizon Council and Hurricane Ian Recovery Task Force. Additionally\, he serves on the board of directors for Valerie’s House\, Barbara’s Friends\, United Way of Lee\, Hendry\, and Glades Counties\, and the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools. Furthermore\, Anderson serves as a mentor for the Foundation’s “Take Stock in Children” program that provides a unique opportunity for deserving\, low-income youth to escape the cycle of poverty through education. \nOn a state level\, Mayor Anderson sits on the Florida League of Mayors Board of Directors and the Florida League of Mayors Veteran Affairs Committee\, and he serves as an active member of both the Florida League of Cities and the Southwest Florida League of Cities. \nMayor Anderson has been recognized with the following distinctions: Lee Pitts Live 2022 “Person of the Year” for Diversity and Inclusion Leadership\, United States Conference of Mayors Small Business Advocate\, 2023 Lideres “Amigo” Award\, 2024 Florida Gulf Coast University Alumnus of Distinction\, Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel 2024 “Public Official of the Year”\, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity\, Inc. Mr. Snyder was a prosecutor in Collier County from 2003 through 2006. Since he left the State Attorney’s Office\, Mr. Snyder has been in the private sector\, devoting his practice to civil litigation and criminal defense. Mr. Snyder is a member of the Florida Bar and the DC Bar and has trials in the Federal Courts\, Middle District of Florida\, and Southern District of Florida. \nOutside of his success as an attorney\, Snyder spends much of his time working to help his community. Snyder is currently the District Governor of Rotary District 6960 and works tirelessly to help the community of Marco Island through his work with the Rotary Club and his law firm. His efforts won him the 2017 Naples Daily News Marco Island Citizen of the Year Award. After high school\, Mr. Perino went to Drexel University to get his Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management and Business Administration\, where he graduated in 2011. During his education at Drexler\, Michael worked as a Benefits Enrollment Counselor to help people understand and enroll in their company’s benefit plans for Univers Workplace Benefits. Michael would continue this work with employee benefits shortly after college by working with Roller Consulting Co. in Pennsylvania. After about a year\, Michael took a new job with M.F. Irvine AssuredPartners Company as a Senior Account Manager/Executive. Then in 2019\, Mr. Perino moved to Bonita Springs to be a Senior Benefits Consultant and a Managing Consultant for One Digital. \nMichael often stays busy at work to help benefit his community and provide for his family. He became Artistic Director of the Pirate Playhouse in 1990\, turning that company\, at the time\, into the area’s only resident Actors’ Equity Association Company and directing over 60 productions. \nRobert Cacioppo\, Florida Rep’s Founder\, was honored by the Florida Professional Theaters Association with the Richard G. Fallon Award for Excellence in Professional Theatre for his tenacity\, vision\, passion\, and leadership in creating professional theater in the state of Florida. \nCurrently\, Robert stays busy as the artistic director of Players Circle Theater. After graduation\, he reported to the San Antonio Division\, McAllen RA\, where he worked on drugs and public corruption matters until 9/11/2001. He transferred to the National Security Branch and was a full-time bureau pilot with the Special Operations Group. \nIn 2004\, SA Cox transferred to the Tampa Division\, Fort Myers\, RA\, where he started the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF). In 2009\, SA Cox was assigned to the Intelligence Division\, and in 2010\, he was transferred to the Cyber Division\, where he expanded the Innocent Images Task Force and battled child pornography. \nIn 2014\, he was transferred to white-collar crimes working public corruption\, healthcare fraud\, and financial crimes. He has been a licensed professional engineer in the state of Florida for more than a decade\, helping to complete the Reitz Student Union redesign in Gainesville\, residential communities at Ave Maria\, University Village near FGCU\, and Hope Healthcare’s Lehigh Acres campus. \nMr. Sloan is now one of the owners of Avalon Engineering\, a Cape Coral-based firm that has served the tri-county area for more than 40 years.
