In 2012\, she began volunteering at a community garden\, where she discovered the joy of growing food and sharing it with those in need. This passion quickly found its way into her teaching. Since 2013\, she has incorporated gardening into her physical education classes\, helping students learn how to plant\, care for\, and harvest their own food. \nIn 2024\, with generous support from the Rotary Club—including planting towers and garden supplies—more children have been given the opportunity to connect with nature in a hands-on way.
