Trish Routte
Manager – Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers
Trish Routte is the Manager for Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, having worked for the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for more than 28 years. Prior to starting with Crime Stoppers, she worked for the Cape Coral Police Department for nearly three years, starting up the second “Do the Right Thing” Youth Recognition Program in the country. Before her law enforcement career, Trish was a journalist, starting with the Cape Coral Daily Breeze at age 15 by writing obituaries, and culminating that chapter of her career as the paper’s City Editor. Trish has served as Chairman of Mothers Against Drunk Driving’s annual Walk Like MADD 5K for the last five years, and has served on the Executive Board of the Southeastern Crime Stoppers Association for the last 12 years. Currently, she is the Vice President of the Florida Association of Crime Stoppers. Trish is married with three adult children, two of whom still live in our community.
