Great day for three Fort Myers Rotary Clubs, in partnership with our District and the Rotary Foundation. The Lee Association for Remarkable Citizens needed a van. They REALLY needed a van. Ian Keith said folks....let’s get them a van! Dan Russell said oh yeah, let’s do it. John McGowan said get rolling. Great project. Kerri Goldsmith said hey, the South Club is all in. An anonymous donor closed a $1,000 hole and what do you know, a 15 passenger van appeared. Thank you to the Sunrise, South and Downtown Clubs for partnering to raise $15,000 toward the purchase of this $30,000 van. Thank you Sam Galloway Ford for making the purchase possible with not a sharp pencil, but taking a hatchet to the price.
